The Orlando Alumnae Chapter exemplifies our thrust of Educational Development by developing programmatic content for the youth in our service area. We do this through our Delta Academy, Delta GEMS, EMBODI, Education Development and Project STEM Committees. The Orlando Alumnae Chapter conducts projects designed to address the community’s concerns about our youth excellence in education with activities such as the Kwanzaa Celebration, Black History Brain Bowl, various conference workshops geared toward youth, a college fair, entrepreneurial showcase and lots of fun. These activities aim to develop a positive attitude towards academic excellence, develop a positive attitude towards self, and stimulate enthusiasm about cultural and educational development.
