It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Orlando Alumnae Chapter (OAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. We are honored to have you explore our website to learn more about our dynamic, dedicated, and distinguished chapter and the many programs we have that provide public service to our community. As we celebrate 55 years of the chapter’s chartering, OAC has committed itself to serving the Orlando Area, addressing societal concerns and issues in an effort to improve the lives of others.

At OAC, we strive to carry out the legacy of our Founders while serving communities through the Sorority's Five Point Programmatic Thrust. Through strategic planning, creative implementation, and heart-felt compassion, OAC’s dedication to service is realized through our chapter sponsored programs and activities. To fulfill our commitment to the community and carry the torch high, every Soror must be instrumental in our success. It is my goal to help ensure that success by implementing the following within our Chapter:

Increase the knowledge and visibility of OAC’s programs and projects in the Orlando Area and its surrounding community, as well as on a Regional and National basis

Strive for higher levels of quality public service within the black community through newly established purposeful programs and maintain ongoing community relationships and outreach.

Long range planning with a cohesive vision

Succession planning-reaching, teaching, and empowering members of OAC to assume leadership roles

Seek internal development workshops and activities to foster sisterly relations and enhance morals

Bridge and strengthen the relationship between Sorors of all ages, and stages of our sisterhood to build a stronger bond to protect the legacy of our chapter and sorority.
